Translation Error Trim in Special Settings

Hi,

 

german client here.

In 1.5 beta - special options/settings for aircraft Bf-109K-4 the new trim settings are incorrectly translated.

 

Höhenrudertrimmung means elevator trim in german. -> But does trim the airlerons. Should be called "Querrudertrimmung".

Querrudertrimmung means ailoeron trim in german. -> But does trim the rudder. Should be called "Rudertrimmung".

 

Btw. What we really need is an elevator trim offset in options. :)

sorry to correct you, but the right translation of the bold above is "Seitenrudertrimmung".

 

But in fact, these on ground only adjustable trimm tabs are called "Bügelkante" or "Trimmkante", in german.

 

So the right expression in german should be:

 

Default trim settings = Grundeinstellung

 

elevator trim tab = Höhenruderbügelkante or Höhenrudertrimmkante

aileron trim tab = Querruderbügelkante or Querrudertrimmkante

rudder trim tab = Seitenruderbügelkante or Seitenrudertrimmkante

 

or

 

elevator trim tab setting = Höhenruderbügelkanteneinstellung or Höhenrudertrimmkanteneinstellung (words can get very long in german :))

aileron trim tab setting = Querruderbügelkanteneinstellung or Querrudertrimmkanteneinstellung

rudder trim tab setting = Seitenruderbügelkanteneinstellung or Seitenrudertrimmkanteneinstellung

yes. "Seitenrudertrimmkanteneinstellung" would be correct. Rudertrimmung isn't specific enough. Thanks for detailing the topic.

 

But i think we can agree that the real Problem is, that the translation is totally mixed up in the moment.

 

For everyone wondering. We are not talking about control settings (key bindings). There are a new settings for the ground only adjustable trim tabs in special options for the aircraft.
