Johnny Dioxin Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 I tested my server initially with 3D rendering, then switched off with v1.2.16, both with one player connected (myself, via LAN). the results were: ON: CPU = 95-100% RAM = 3.23GB OFF: CPU = 42% RAM = 2.63GB Speaks for itself - it's well worth doing. Rig: Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS; Ryzen 7800X3D ; 64GB DDR5 5600; RTX 4080; VPC T50 CM2 HOTAS; Pimax Crystal Light I'm learning to fly - but I ain't got wings With my head in VR - it's the next best thing!

Only difference is that instead of getting a black screen the screen is light blue (but still blank). Also, we limit our server FPS to 10 changed from the default 120. This is another step we have done for the past 3-4 years and it's always helped us maintain as stable a platform we can. The FPS limit is just below the 3DRender command. There by causing more inaccuracies in with hit detection and network calculation? I always thought for "render3D" option you have to create new file "autoexec.cfg" in <username>\savedgames\dcs\config. That file was empty at the beginning so there was nothing below or above...
