Hi all

I was looking for the manual for the SU-25T and found it - but it's got details of "Game" avionics and is only 68 pages.

Is the SU-25T only "game" mode? No "sim" mode like in A-10C or BS or the Mig-21?

Thanks

You've found the right manual.

The Su-25T does have a sim mode but it's not like the other modules you mention. It, like all the Flaming Cliffs aircraft are "Survey sims" as opposed to the "study sims" you seem to be used to.

They're still realistic but nowhere near as detailed and lack the virtual cockpits, making much greater use of the keyboard. In the SU-25T for example from cold start CTRL-C closes your cockpits, one more button turns on electrics then a button each for the two engines. A long way from the 90+ steps for Black Shark.

Having said that the systems, capabilities and limits for the aircraft are still realistic so in that sense they are still sims.

The SU-25T is a fun little plane as well and coming from the Black Shark you'll recognise several of the systems and be putting it to use in no time.

I have a related question... sort of.

If a manual is for the Steam version, are there any differences in controls or systems.

In context, I have the stand alone version of DCS World 1.5 Open Beta. Can I use a Steam manual?
