G3 Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 i am currently obsessed with watching AIR COMBAT and any other military related shows on tv and i am really enjoying trying to identify the various jets i see. would like to learn more about the different types and eventually be able to see a jet and say, hey thats a F/A-18 or whatever with some sort of confidence rather than my current half guess :) can anyone point me in the right direction as to a web site that has a collection of large-ish images of modern jets and some basic data about the aircraft, most sites i have found so far have provided copious amounts of info with dismally small images. any help appreciated as always... 1

Rastus Posted June 19, 2006 Posted June 19, 2006 Next time you walk past a book store check it out. There are many aviation books with large pictures & general infomation & often fairly cheap. Cheers
