I've found that there are different versions of the aircraft manuals between the ED Downloads page, and those included in the installer. What is the proper location of the 'latest manual'?

ED, I want to say that I really love your manuals. Coming from military aviation, the format of these tech pubs really takes me back. I've read them several times and will read them several more. I even play the manuals on text to speech in my office with some background ambient techno.. love it!

THREAD BREVITY DISCLAIMER: Please, if you don't work for ED and don't know the answer, don't reply with your best guess. I can guess too.. I'm looking for empirical data here. Don't take offense, just keeping the thread lean.

It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm

Yes, I'm hoping that's the case, but I see inconsistencies. BS2 manual in install was older than the download on the ED site. Just trying to find out what their doc policy is so I'll be more apt to always find the latest ver.

Apparently, there is no consistent update process/policy. At one time, Sithspawn indicated that he would try to get the problem addressed but...
