BaD CrC Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 According to the wiki link Grimes sent, lakes must be of shallow_water type instead of water. So normally, you cannot place boats on lake. The trick you might know though is to place the boat you want on the sea then copy paste it anywhere on the map, including lakes or land. Et voila.
