A-10C JTAC Bug? Or not?

Hi everyone, I'm flying the A-10C in DCS 1.2.16, but I've noticed that if my element is only 2 planes (myself and AI wingman) and I call JTAC, they always have no tasking for me to do. If I have 4 planes in total however (myself and 3 other AI wingmen) then JTAC works properly and gives me targets to kill. Is this a bug? Hopefully they fix it in DCS 1.5? If not, how can I get JTAC to work properly? Thanks :pilotfly:

What mission in particular are you having trouble with? I have not experienced this bug. I'm also on 1.2.16 (not the 1.5 beta) and ran the Surrounded!.miz mission literally two days ago. That mission has 2 planes (myself and an AI wingman) and I am 100% sure that JTAC worked as I used it throughout the mission.

I am running one of those "Create instant mission" type of mission. I tried with 2 airplanes and JTAC didn't work, then I went back and editted the mission and added another plane and it worked...

This post has some info about getting JTACs to work in missions. They need to have line of sight to the targets to be able to call ordnance on them.
