xll Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 in the LOFC it seems that Mirage2000 drop the flaps fully down in the landing operation. i wonder if the real Mirage2000 doing landing like this?
diveplane Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 dont know maybe the mirage has only 2 flap positions ... take off , and landing =flaps down ...........flight =flaps up... https://www.youtube.com/user/diveplane11 DCS Audio Modding.
nscode Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Never forget that World War III was not Cold for most of us.
xll Posted July 2, 2006 Author Posted July 2, 2006 i watched several videos and movies, it seems like Mirage2000's flaps are not moving very much during take off or landing, just like the pic nscode posted.
spyro23 Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Real Mirage 2000-5 don't doing this.... Yep This is pure delta wing jet. It has no flaps at all. Those surfaces are not flaps but elevons - pitch sterring surfaces. If you have extend it like in LOMAC you would be few meters below groung level very fast:) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
xll Posted July 3, 2006 Author Posted July 3, 2006 in my opinion,it will pitch down if Mirage 2000 doing like this. totally contrary to nature!
23rd_SATAN Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 I think there are plenty of bigger issues for the Devs to fix before they get to this. The Mirage is not even flyable... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Crusty Posted July 4, 2006 Posted July 4, 2006 As Spyro23 said..its a mistake..no flaps on a mirage2000, or any delta without a tail or canard surface,I can think of oo err...missus:animals_bunny: ** Anti-Pastie**
