Beeroshima Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 (edited) So, i created a small video that demonstrates my question, but in a nutshell, when you have NVG's on, the MFCD is visible, albeit somewhat polluted, while in "Day" setting. When you switch it over to "NT"(night), it becomes completely whited out. I'm guessing maybe the settings are not meant to have anything to do with NVG's, but is there a way to make the MFCD more viewable with your goggles on? Here's a link to the video I made. EDIT: The resolution will be crap until it finishes processing. [ame] [/ame] Edited December 2, 2015 by Beeroshima
JazonXD Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Hmmm, very interesting. I've never flown at night yet because I just got the module not a week ago, but I hope this gets resolved. Beeroshima Posted December 3, 2015 Author Posted December 3, 2015 I'm not positive it's not working as intended. I'm not saying it's a bug...just trying to figure out what exactly is happening.
GurbY Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 It is working as intended. However, there is a great mod that makes the NVG much more realistic, and less saturated. Check http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=151646
Devrim Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Beeroshima, that's a normal react from MFCD because of brightness. That's why sometimes pilots glance gauges under the NVG while head up. The mod GurbY mentioned will be useful for you, although I couldn't get used to it...
