ThorBrasil
It seems that the textures are not loading? Is that so? So ugly. https://scontent-mia1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xtl1/t31.0-8/12291850_956170387790391_4791722537945466187_o.jpg |Motherboard|: Asus TUF Gaming X570-PLUS, |WaterCooler|: Corsair H115i Pro, |CPU|: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, |RAM|: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 3200MHz DDR4, |SSD|: Kingston A2000 500GB M.2 NVMe, |SSD|: Kingston 2.5´ 480GB UV400 SATA III, |SSHD|: Seagate Híbrido 2TB 7200RPM SATA III, |GPU|: MSI Gaming 980Ti, |Monitor|: LG UltraWide 34UM68, |Joystick 1|: Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog, |Joystick 2|: T.Flight Rudder Pedals, |Head Motion|: TrackIr 5. Revelation
Your screen shot is taken around Round Mountain. That is not a high-detailed area. If ED did the entire map to the same level of LV, your computer would melt. This is not a bug. ThorBrasil
How far will the high-detail textures? |Motherboard|: Asus TUF Gaming X570-PLUS, |WaterCooler|: Corsair H115i Pro, |CPU|: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X, |RAM|: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB 3200MHz DDR4, |SSD|: Kingston A2000 500GB M.2 NVMe, |SSD|: Kingston 2.5´ 480GB UV400 SATA III, |SSHD|: Seagate Híbrido 2TB 7200RPM SATA III, |GPU|: MSI Gaming 980Ti, |Monitor|: LG UltraWide 34UM68, |Joystick 1|: Thrustmaster Hotas Warthog, |Joystick 2|: T.Flight Rudder Pedals, |Head Motion|: TrackIr 5. Revelation
I don't know the extent, I just remember that Wags once mentioned that once you get away from LV the quality starts dropping. (those are not his exact words) So the highest mesh is around Vegas and places like Creech, etc... Areas immediately around those places are equally to slightly less detailed and it goes out to the edges which are referred to as fly over country. Those areas have elevation data, and a simple mesh. Again, that is not verbatim from ED/Wags or anyone else. That is my summation of what I remember the update covering. Kayos
I flew very far to the North last night and it didn't look anywhere near that bad. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Revelation
I flew very far to the North last night and it didn't look anywhere near that bad. Maybe the OP needs to do a repair install. I haven't been that far North, so I don't know for sure how it should look. ***EDIT*** Just placed an AC out there and I can confirm that is how the terrain looks out there. Dingo_Bob
He doesn't need to repair he's just very far north in low textureville, as said the map has high, medium and low texture bases depending on the area of the map, highest being around LV & Groom etc lessening the quality for smaller populated areas and dropping off in quality from there getting less and less glossy as you fly futher to the edges until, you hit the edge where it becomes a textureless flat terrainless pixelated bitmap googlemap from 1982 :D As siad it would probably cause melting point on most PC if the whole map was as detailed as LV, besides the low texture areas aren't too bad once you stay high enough they are quite pleasing to the eye and sort of play a trick into making the terrain look a bit real from altitude Edited December 4, 2015 by Dingo_Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Modules are like Pokemon you gotta catch 'em all :joystick::lol::pilotfly: AMD Ryzen7 3700x, G-Skills 32Gb RAM @ 3200Mhz, MSI GTX1080Ti, TM Warthog (20cm extension by Sahaj), MFG Crosswind Pedals, Oculus Rift, Track Ir5
