Vegorace Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Greetings from Norway! A 34 year old dude here saying hi! :v: Wondering if there is some players out there that want to fly with me? Learn me the ropes, formation flying, fun, missions, whatever? There is so much to learn about each plane, and the game in general that playing with others would not only speed up the learning prosess but make it hell of alot more fun! :smartass: A requirement should be that "you" need alot of patience with me as im a complete newb and a beginner to DCS World :smartass: And beeing a norwegian, handle some amazing bad english :megalol: Also, ive only been playing for acouple of months, but i have already fallen in love with the game! I went and bought myself the KA-50 Black Shark 2 Module (i suck at this), F15c and The Mig21Bis, and i got the saber in my gunsight as the next module, also looking to get a new HOTAS (got the beginners Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS). And TRACKIR seems to be a must have as i only use hatkey on my joystick, for viewing. Not very efficient  My fav. plane is the Mig21, witch is the one i feel most comfortble with! Should mention im no where any good, and landing with the Mig is meh.... not to mention the dogfighting, turning, flamouts.. :pilotfly:haha. Awesome plane none the less, it got emergency starter! I also manage to bring down a F15 (AI! Not a player). Witch im very proud of (should mention that the F15 didnt have any Missles. I did....:megalol:) Oh, and i should maybe mention i play on the Steam version! Vegorace
ZQuickSilverZ Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I can teach you to fly the Ka50. If you like helo's I would recommend the Huey as well. I would wait till I had some practice before giving the HIP a go..... she has a heavy butt. Not saying HIP is a bad or uncontrollable airframe, I would just consider it more advanced (as in required skill to control) than the other 2 helo's. Opinions may vary. I need, I need, I need... What about my wants? QuickSilver original. "Off with his job" Mr Burns on the Simpsons. "I've seen steering wheels / arcade sticks / flight sticks for over a hundred dollars; why be surprised at a 150 dollar item that includes the complexities of this controller?! It has BLINKY LIGHTS!!" author unknown. These titles are listed in the chronological order I purchased them. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Vegorace Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 Thanks for such great replys everyone! :) ZQuickSilverZ: I would love to learn the KA-50. I've giving up abit to bee honest. Main thing i cant seem to get the hang of is the trimming and autopilot. Flying in generel. In my head i know how it works, but applying it, well.. doesnt work well. And i need ofc to learn weapon sysystems. Lots to read up on :D But learning to fly, is the most important at the momemt. I alread knew about the amazing "Chuck's Tutorial Library". Love the tutorials! Great work. Zimmerdylan: I'll be sure to shout out if i ever see you around in MP :) Again, thanks for a warm welcome! Now back to work, then later, home and:joystick: -> :pilotfly:
