Aginor Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 I just tried to land my Huey on the "Tromp" tower and on that "Walles" building, and it seems their collision models are a bit inaccurate. I landed (or crashed, in case of the Tromp tower) on something invisible. Don't know if this is intentional to save some ressources or whether it is a bug, so I reported it here. I attached a picture to show what happened. DCSW weapons cheat sheet speed cheat sheet
Bourrinopathe Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Same on several buildings, but it's typical collision model simplification. Changing all of them would require a lot of work and unless its a intended beta version for those models, we should be fine with them. But, yeah, it's fun landing on the roofs ;) /// ВКБ: GF Pro MkII+MCG Pro/GF MkII+SCG L/Black Mamba MkIII/Gladiator/T-Rudder MkII | X-55 Rhino throttle/Saitek Throttle Quadrant | OpenTrack+UTC /// ZULU +4 /// /// "THE T3ASE": i9 9900K | 64 GB DDR4 | RTX 2080ti OC | 2 TB NVMe SSDs, 1 TB SATA SSD, 12 TB HDDs | Gigabyte DESIGNARE mobo ///
Gunfighter6 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Crane Object Collision I have the opposite issue. I can land on the crane with just the end tip of the skid. I crashed later trying to land in between the crane support cables in the end...waiting for my Warthog extension from Simpit to arrive for hopefully for better control. :D See track file attached.Crane Landing.trk Win 10 · i9900K@stock · 4070Ti· ASUS Z390-A · SSD · 64Gb · TM Warthog · CV1 · Quest 2
