I get a red exclamation for Trim Reset. I can assign button 3 to this function but when pressed, nothing is happening. Button is not assigned anywhere else. I tried clearing all and it still shows red ! even if no joy button or keys are bound.

Mac, are able to fix this? I also have the same problem. If anyone knows please help. thanks

Wow, can you please post all of your settings? I to have a 1080ti and if I set my PD to 1.5, it becomes a slide show. I had to revert back to 1.0 to get descents FPS, I'm getting about 35 fps. Sweet spot is really tiny though, everything is blurry for me unless it is straight in front. You came from Q1 and I came from CV1 so our views are going to be different. Q2 is a great product and for DCS it is descent for the price. However, I wish CV1 has the resolution of Q2, it would be an awesome headset for DCS.

Got quest 2 for Christmas. Not sure if it's for DCS. If you want mobility games such as Beat Saber and a decent PCVR to play space games like Eve Valkyrie and Star Wars Squadron, Quest 2 is the best. However, if you're looking for a good VR for DCS, I think something like a G2 (I don't own one, I have CV1 now Q2) might be better. So far, the Quest 2 is superior image quality over my CV1 but it has a very small sweet spot. Everything in front of me is nice and clear (cockpit wise) but beyond 500 feet out it's blurry. While playing Huey campaign, I looked over to my wing man and he's blurry. Distance objects such as buildings, vehicles, other air frames in the sky all looked blurry in my opinion. Normally, even on my old CV1, you can make out the type of helos flying in the distance but on Q2 although I can see the shape you can't really make out the type. Maybe it's just me but I didn't have this issue with my CV1. I've tested my cable and I'm getting about 2.1gb bandwidth. I'm running @ 72Hz max 5408x2736, PD 1.0 with MSAA 2x and SAA 1.5 getting about 35 fps. Honestly, I don't think it matters for DCS, you will get blurry on distance objects period. I can tell from Oculus home itself that anything not within the sweet spot is blurry. I think it's the nature of the beast. Oh and SD effects are still there maybe not as much but please load a night mission up and see for yourself. Hopefully, the G2 price will drop someday for me to grab one for DCS but I may have to bite the bullet if the Apache arrives before the price drop. Hope that helps.

Gercarst, where do you have your page file drive? The OS boot drive on C? or did you set up your page file on the new NVMe M.2 drive? or both? my TEMP and TMP are already on an SSD of the boot drive just not on the new NVMe M.2 drive and I sill have stutter, plus it points to my AppData which is on C, so do I move my appdata to D where my new NVMe M.2 drive is? thanks

Got it working, thanks again. I moved the game on to the NVMe M.2 drive as D:\Eagle Dynamics and it is working except for some missing icons which is not an issue for me. Another question is about the page file, where do I set it and how much? I have 64Gig of RAM. Currently page file is on boot drive as system managed which is an SSD but seems to be stuttering. Should I put the page file on the new NVMe M.2 drive with DCS?

Not sure if you all saw this video...I was hoping for more Quest 2 reviews. I hate the FB requirement but for the price for mobile and PCVR, I might sell my soul LOL, I'm on the fence. I currently have CV1 and desperately need a new HMD, wanting the HP G2 but it's a little steep and I only have a 1080ti to boot, not sure if it can handle.

Speaking of NVMe M.2 drive, I just bought one today and I just want to have DCS on it. What is the best way to do that without reinstalling the whole thing? I've searched the net but there is not really a clear answer. Some say move, some say install fresh, some say need deactivate first, some say don't need that anymore, so I'm totally confused. I really don't want to reinstall as I have CV1 running, ViacomPro, Jetseat all that stuff not to mentioned I finally was able to get decent settings running around 45 fps and I don't want to screw that up. All I want to do is make DCS on it's own drive. I noticed for me, I have some DCS folders in \program files and some in \program files (x86). If moving is best do I move them all? I have Windows 10 64 bit running. Please advise on the best course of action. Thank you all in advanced!

Ok, I can barely squeeze out 45 fps in CV1. Just wondering if I should pull the trigger on HP G2 with my current rig. I can't afford anymore upgrades right now. thanks for info.

I bought this and it solved most of my mouse issues. I attached to my finger and moved the mouse around using my right thigh as a pad. If you press it close enough to your skin or clothes it tracks pretty well. Thank you everyone for your help! It finally worked. I tried all suggestions you all gave me and got it to work on the same issue as Hafer although I've tried that before and it didn't work. Even though I am running the standalone beta, I also had to do custom path (Even though my installation used the default path) and also check the "ob" button (even though I don't have Steam version). The weird thing is I've tried all this before and it never worked but something must have been triggered this time. Thanks again everyone! Really appreciated the help. G6

Sure. 1) I run VCPro admin (I wait for the chatter to come on) 2) Then I start DCS 3) I see DCS splash screen loading, at 10% it just sits there. I have let it sat for a long time before. Once this happens, I use task manager to close DCS. Then I closed VCPro. then, 1) Run DCS repairt and say "yes" (2 files get deleted common.lua and speech.lua) 2) I get a successfully repaired message 3) To test, I run DCS without VCPro. 4) Spashscreen comes on and DCS loads as usual, pretty fast actually. Bypasses 10% rather quickly, game loads, no issues. Then once I fired up VCPro, problem repeats as described above and I repeat the process to get DCS loading again. I've had VCPro for quite some time and never had any issues other than Jester doesn't respond to "startup" in the Tomcat. No errors or messages telling of any issues. My anti-virus logs show nothing quarantined. I've check other logs and they are all empty. Thanks a lot for trying to help me. Let me know if you need other information. G6

Hi All, I'm begging for help. I've tried everything and read all the posts and RTFM. Still no dice. I am running standalone DCS and I use default install folder from many years ago. I do not use MODS. Viacom Pro used to work until one day after an update and it crapped out never to work since. I have even tried doing the steam check box and do custom path (even though I don't use custom path). I've hit up Hollywood but no replies as I'm sure he's very busy. I've deleted just about all other export.lua in existences everywhere still stuck at 10%. Repair DCS only shows that I have 2 files needed deletion every time. Someone mentioned they had 5 files deleted. Running Windows 10, latest and greatest. It can't be this difficult but I am exhausted. I have been trying for at least two months and still no joy. Call me stupid but somebody please walk me through this torture. Getting about 22 fps and lower inside cockpit of any planes, I've tried tomcat, hornet, and viper. Noticed looking at cockpit and moving your head around inside cockpit will drop frames badly making you ill. Looking out side of the cockpit seems a little smoother. Also, my FPS count for some reason shows my video memory as 0.00 gb. I am using latest nvidia driver, 445.87.

Anyone getting this error message when starting up ViaPro? unable to access command. command not available (chatter) I have latest versions of everything.

Have you guys seen this video? I almost crapped my pants when I heard it or I didn't hear it...as it wasn't really clear on what they meant. When they say "customers" do they mean "consumer" version? Someone help me decipher but if there is a plan for a consumer version, I'm definitely saving my dough for this bad boy. Scroll to 13:00 for the meat and potatoes.

I vote for AH-1W as well. I'd like something a bit more current. I think the Whiskey would satisfy more folks, especially the rotor heads. :D
