Ganesh Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Sorry for my uncommon question, but since 2.0 im having trouble to rotate in my huey. In forward flight with a little speed my huey rotates very very slow until to no effect! Am i to stupid or what happend since 2.0? In hover all is good and normal as usual. Is the huey out of beta and this is normal behavior? regards Ganesh She: "Your orders from ED have reached a total amount of $ 1.168,94 and your hardware expenses are countless..." Rogue Trooper Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 The Huey's tail rotor authority is weak by default, I noticed nothing unusual in regards to the tail rotor when I flew it on Sunday. It could possibly be affected in the Alpha release. HP G2 Reverb (Needs upgrading), Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate. set to OpenXR, but Open XR tool kit disabled. Xtrasensory Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 What rogue said. And define the slow speed you are flying? Sometimes in high winds youre not even able to complete a 360 due to lack of thrust of the tailrotor in a steady hover. http://1stcavdiv.conceptbb.com/ 229th Air Cav, D Coy, Gunships
Ganesh Posted December 10, 2015 Author Posted December 10, 2015 No guys this can't be normal. 360degr. in more than 20seconds. I'll check the speed again (with F2 view because the gauge can't show so low speeds) but if i remember correctly all over 10knots was defenitley not turnable. Maybe i should reassign my controls?! Flagrum Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Probably related to your altitude MSL, Georgia vs. Nevada?
Xtrasensory Posted December 10, 2015 Posted December 10, 2015 Can you provide a track? What was the wind direction and velocity? Temperature, altitude, weight of the aircraft? If youre able to make a complete 360 in a hover, I would assume your controls are fine and its a tailro5or thrust related problem. http://1stcavdiv.conceptbb.com/ 229th Air Cav, D Coy, Gunships
