StrongHarm Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 Captain James Kirk (not James T. Kirk) is in command of the new USS Zumwalt Destroyer. It's a new modern ship with a stealthy design, and the largest Destroyer we've ever built. It headed out for sea trials on Monday. http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/12/08/largest-destroyer-built-for-navy-heads-out-to-sea/ It's a good thing that this is Early Access and we've all volunteered to help test and enhance this work in progress... despite the frustrations inherent in the task with even the simplest of software... otherwise people might not understand that this incredibly complex unfinished module is unfinished. /light-hearted sarcasm
NeilWillis Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 He'll get the USS Enterprise soon I am sure.
wasserfall Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 What happened? Did the hull capsized and then they build the upper structure on it?? Intel Core i5-9600K, Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 WINDFORCE 8G
SkateZilla Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 they use the reverse hull on the ddg 1000 series. sadly the 4.4 billion doar tab caused the program to go from 30 or so to THREE ships. effectively making it a tech demo platform for reverse hull, systems and rail guns.
