DCS World won't run if...

Hi.

 

I click on DCS World OpenBeta (v1.5.1) icon and "Checking Updates" window appears.

If I click on Cancel, DCS World complete gives up running.

 

Is that supposed to be like this?

 

If I'm not wrong, I remember as it should skip checking updates and run the sim.

How soon are you clicking cancel? It will check for updates briefly, and then should launch the sim shortly after.

 

Note it does take a few moments after the update screen goes away for the game to launch.

In my case, if I cancel the update then try to update again it won't work and it just run DCS World.

I know all that. In any way, when I click on Cancel, it should skip checking and continue to start the sim.

That's normal behavior. Not sure but it checks updates every 24 hour or something, or one in a day.

 

If you want it to check again, you can click Check Update icon in Start Menu.
