[bug] Propeller keeps turning after engine shutdown

Posted (edited)

Steps to reproduce:

0. Disconnect any game controllers.

1. Start the "Takeoff" instant action mission.

2. Actuate the fuel tank selector valve lever all the way down (shutdown) and wait for the engine to stop.

3. Engine stops.

Expected result:

Propeller stops rotating after several seconds.

Actual result:

Propeller rotation almost stops (after ~3 seconds); the propeller actually keeps rotating at around 1 degree per second. No tendency to change the rate within tens of seconds. Perhaps indefinitely but I only watched it this long.

Probably the same bug that plagues the p51d, which someone reported having it's prop windmilling in the wind, with engine stopped...

I knew it's graphical or the likes. For it to have source in physics modeling some stuff would have had to be off by three orders of magnitude (friction, cylinder compression).

I wonder if it's related to this odd behavior
