Lock on is a damn fine game!

About there is a liitle problem against its reality.

 

1: I've check the data, event the oldest version of Su-27 could carry R-27AE. But we can not do that in the game.

 

2: Pilot can always get away from the crash with its ejet chair. Because in the game the cockpit is matchless and can not be destroyed.

 

3: When I face to the sun, I can still see everything clearly.

 

4: I just find out that nothing happen to the plane when the plane hit trees or eletric wire. The would not crash or any thing.

 

5: I check the cockpit, there are a lot of button in the cockpit, much more than our control map give us, can ED tell us what does the extra button do?

 

I hope ED can add a new patch to fix those problem!

Are you pointing out that those are "problems"? :P

 

1 - ok i dunno about this one.

 

2 - the pilot CAN be killed. Sometimes you might find that the ejection keys just wont work....thats because your dead.

 

3 - I agree, getting blinded by the sun would be a nice feature, although, this would require more than just a small "patch" to add to the game. Would require some coding.

 

4 - there is (or used to be?) a way of making all the trees collidable. Not sure how this was achieved though..

 

5 - The cockpit of the jets arent clickable, so i see why you might ask this.... But wait til you put your hands on Black Shark. Pretty much every switch and button can be pressed in the Ka-50 cockpit. ;)

Red Hammer it's not a bug report from you but rather request for new features. All of these you'll see in next flightsim from ED.

They were in the game before but have been removed. Search more to find your answer :)

In most cases my plane just blows up without even giving me a chance to eject. Sometimes when your plane gets shot down and are still alive in the cockpit happens that high-g spin doesn't let you to pull eject handle. (at leasst that what I noticed)

the R-27AE never made it past prototype stage so you can't use it

i mostly get killed when hit by a missile depends on the direction the missile came from if you always run away, the missile won't blow up the whole plane but only the exhaust pipe and the aft Fuselage.

if you want all those buttons working you have to play falcon.....there are many things like Fuel Switch, Emergency Hook and many more things you don't really need ;)

shamandgg said R-27AE were in the game before but have been removed.

But v1.00 can also use R-27EM. Su-27 Can not use that thing in real life.

This has been discussed to death! What credible evidence or source can you offer to prove Su-27 can carry EA missiles?

So you'd like E.D. to do a free 1.03 patch for a product that Ubisoft sells?

You don't think they might think it more important to do work on products they actually do sell?

Maybe it slipped by (for a few people out there) that there is a newer version? The latest version is a patch for Flaming Cliffs (a.k.a as v1.1) and no longer affiliated with Ubisoft as its publisher. Download FC and then the latest patch (currently 1.12a) to stay up-to-date. The change log is quite long since 1.02, so start with these updates. In the future Black Shark will cont. the new version history, so in order to stay current you'll need more than simply Lock-On + the 1.02 patch! 1.02 is essentially an old game... 1.12a is Lock-On's most current state.
