I tried putting a checkmark in the gameplay options to 'hide control stick' thinking it would remove the joystick in the Mig-29s from obstructing my instrumentation panel, but it doesn't. How do you remove the animated joysick in the Mig-29s, v.1.5?

Thank you.

As far as I know, there's no such an option or a mod for that, for now... :\

You know, it occurs to me that you could just set up a Snap View for yourself of that area. Then just hit the key and you're seeing what you want to see. I used to do it all the time in my pre-TIR days. Unfortunately, it's been so long since I've done it that I've forgotten how. But here's a link that might help: Snap View on Fuel Meter

I have several snap views already setup...so if I pull back the stick then take a snap view without obstruction, hopefully in flight using that snapview I should have a good view as well. I'll check it out later today.

Thanks for the pointer.

Ironhand:

I set up the snapview I wanted with the joystick pulled back to allow viewing of the blocked objects. But once you move the joystick it goes back to blocking again in the new snapview.

I may be able to find the graphic file(s) that represent the j-stick and delete it.
