Cannot seem to update to 1.5.2?

Hi,

 

I can't seem to get 1.5.1 to update to 1.5.2?

 

The updater opens and closes very quickly but no download or update happens?

 

Contents of autoupdate_log are:

Have tried copying the DCS_updater.exe from:

 

C:\Users\Stu\AppData\Local\Temp\DCS.openbeta\DCS_updater.exe

 

to D:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\

 

and running it, no joy? Also tried running that above mentioned command line from a command window in bin but it doesn't recognize the syntax?

 

Have moved everything out of .torrents folder as well but no luck?

 

Sim works fine as 1.5.1 but can't seem to update at all. The Updater is the newest i think?

 

Version 2.6.9.43 (5.61MB)

 

Any ideas guys?

Sim main screen is still showing 1.5.1 etc. in bottom right corner as well.

which anti virus do you use?

 

you can replace the DCS_updater which is currently 2.6.9.43 by using this link http://updates.digitalcombatsimulator.com/

Have you tried going to 'start menu', 'all programs', 'eagle dynamics', 'dcs world open beta' and then click on 'update dcs world open beta'?

Thats what i had to do to get mine to work. hope it helps.

Thanks for the responses.

 

Don't have Eagle Dynamics in Start Menu i'm afraid. All ED titles installed to D drive and using Windows 10. Not sure if that's why but its not there?

 

Have downloaded the newest updater but it will not run from inside \bin

 

Am running it in its own folder and it's currently downloading the new files and folders etc to that folder. Guess i will have to manually copy them over to the sim folders on completion?
