Menessis Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 Since I still use my old Cougar to fly DCS I have been slowly changing over to DX. This way I don't have to load a profile to fly a different AC. So one problem I am having is trying to use the DogFight switch as my Boat Switch. DCS A-10c has: Boat Switch Forward Boat Switch Center Boat Switch Aft So I need to learn how to mod the lua files so that when the switch is returned to the center position it cancels the Forward or Aft. The center position doesn't generate a key press. Thanks for any help. Menessis
Lange_666 Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 What about using the /P/R modifiers instead? hansangb Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I know this is for Thrustmaster, but the concept is similar. Take a look at http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2563187&postcount=1 It's one script for the throttle (since joystick buttons don't have state). It loves the boat switch problem nicely - and you can use one script for all aircraft. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
Menessis Posted December 22, 2015 Author Posted December 22, 2015 (edited) I already have a working Foxy profile. I want to switch over to DX to simplify things. I have read a lot of threads. But the problem is things change from version to version so much it's hard to figure it out. I'm not even sure what lua files are the ones I should be looking at, at this point.
