Somnus Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Does anyone know how to remap the three buttons underneath the MFD on the throttle of the X52? Someone here posted a picture showing what all their buttons do for the Ka50, and they had those three buttons mapped plus with shift states. I can't find them in them in the profile editor. Devrim Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 (edited) If I get you correct; I can use "4" buttons, and pinkie together. First, I added the "Pinkie" (on cyclic) as Modifier in DCS World > Options > Controls, in any aircraft I have. Pinkie is JOY_BTN6 on stick (metal little switch) by the way. Then, left knob is JOY_BTN32 Silver button (up) is JOY_BTN33 Silver button (dw) is JOY_BTN34 right knob is JOY_BTN39 DCS World can see the button presses, but rotary movement! Actually you can't program them in SST software. You're right about this point. cardboard_man Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 you should just be able to map all but one of the scroll wheel presses from in DCS. Or at least i use them for drop tanks in mig21 and the boat switch in a10c and i don't remember changing anything in SST to get them to work.
Mr_Burns Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 Boat, Airbrake and Canopy for me, just make sure you click on X52 column when mapping them to the commands you want.
Weta43 Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 In the control section with everything showing, press each of the 3 buttons to see if they're assigned already, the if they are either accept that or clear the X52 assignment and re-assign. From memory you have to specify modifiers before using them, so either set whatever you're going to use as a modifier for the 3 button states to be a modifier, or use the profile editor to program the modifier switch to produce one of the existing modifiers. Now assign the button States as normal. Cheers.
Isegrim Posted December 25, 2015 Posted December 25, 2015 (edited) Uncheck both Checkmarks in Windows settings of the X 52 *Clutchmode*. Iam not using the SST Sofware with my X 52 Pro so i have no idea... but may Help. In DCS i can assign those buttons after unchecking the *Clutchmode*.
