I have a suggestion for creating manual update links at the problems with the auto-update. I think this would help much, because it is difficult to know if there is something wrong with the computer or the actual update. Likewise, it would be good if the different update the rings of modules went to download and install manually.

And Merry Christmas, All pilots.

But, to be honest, the best thing you can do is open up a command window -

Start | Run | Type 'cmd'

Then go to the 'bin' folder of the respective release you want to update and then type -

'DCS_updater update'

That will update your updater executable to the latest release. Then it will update your release to the latest files.

This method does not actually work for me. I have been fighting with 1.5 for a day now with no luck. When I try and log in, it tells me no internet connection. If I try and run the updater through the cmd line, it will say checking for updates then nothing happens. If I try and run a repair, I am told the following.

"INFO : Got reply from www.digitalcombatsimulator.com

ERROR: Conection to server 'srv4.update.digitalcombatsimulator.com' failed: Couldn't resolve host name

ERROR: srv4.update.digitalcombatsimulator.com replied HTTP -1
