Hi

Just got the Saitek pedals from Santa and taking some getting used to compared to my old twist joystick.

Is there any way to lower the sensitivity?

Thanks

In the DCS controller menu, highlight the pedal column and click on axis tune. Try a curvature of around 12-15. Might give it a little deadzone as well, like 3-5.

I run a 5 deadzone and 15 curvature on my Saitek Combats.

bunraku, congrats with your new pedals. :)

While it might seem difficult to consider disassembling a new kit, I strongly recommend removing the centre detent in them.

My flying got much better without it.

There's a video here describing how to do it:

The problem is, even in fixed wing you sometimes want small adjustments near the centre, especially for lining shots up.

I found it near impossible to do this right, until I removed the detent..

Even for take offs and landings the accuracy gets better without the detent.

Hi Guys. Someone posted in another thread that most people have 20-25 as a curvature. Can someone who is using the pro rudder pedals advise me their deadzone and curve settings please?

Thanks

5 Deadzone, 25 curve. No curve is far too twitchy for me!

Removing the centre detent is not ideal for fixed wing as leaning your feet on the pedals can result in undesired input, and therefore a crabbing aircraft!

I actually removed mine, but I use a large dead zone so it's OK (I prefer it like this, it's too twitchy for me around the center anyway).

When resting it's not perfectly centered but it's inside the deadzone.
