Rapier-VCG- Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Hey all, Finally found the time to take the M2000 for a spin around Nevada, and curious if the roll rate of the aircraft in Sim is actually accurate. if so then damn, its going to take some time to get skilled up to be able to make effective snap rolls :)
jweisner Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Hey all, Finally found the time to take the M2000 for a spin around Nevada, and curious if the roll rate of the aircraft in Sim is actually accurate. if so then damn, its going to take some time to get skilled up to be able to make effective snap rolls :) There's some discussion about the flight model in this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=156448 F99th Pb_Magnet #73
King_Hrothgar Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Activate spin recovery and put your pilot into a coma with the G's from a simple roll. What you're seeing is a FBW limitation, not a FM thing.
BaconSarnie Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Try turning off the FBW then putting the stick full over left or right, wait maybe half a second while you black out and your wings snap off. And lo, Reverend Vegas did say "Take forth unto the infidel the mighty GAU 8 and expend its holy 30MM so that freedom will be brung upon them who knoweth not the joys of BBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT" "Amen"
