Hello to any kind soul who can point me in the right;

Since Xmas day I get constant crashes 5 minutes into any Instant Skirmish.

Never ever had crashes before (last time was 5 years ago or so?!)..

My OS is Win 7 64-bit, but the hardware is 2.5 years old now:

I use a Radeon HD 7850 (is this out-dated now?)

i7-3770K 3.4Gz CPU, 8GB DDR3 1222Mhz RAM,

SSD 250Gb 840 Samsung Evo, Asus P8z77-V Pro Motherboard.

My saved crash Logs : Thx and bye for now!

your system meets minimum spec, the card may be getting a little old now but should be more than capable.

when you get the crash could you attach your whole logs folder zipped, it gives us more information than just the crash itself.

also the track file can be found here (appdata folder which is hidden by default by windows)

not overclocked

nope.. I would not be fussing here if it were overclocking tweaks

so strictly CPU nor GPU overclocking... will check everything again

latest catalyst drivers too (maybe this the problem ?)

Sorry I think it's my PC, not DCS

I've got a hunch now : My PC is crashing under any strain...

I think it's hardware : My neighbor will check and clean it tomorrow

It's probably the heat sink come unstuck from the CPU and over temp error got reported in bios.

I will report back when it's been inspected / repaired.

To close this ; I apologize for reporting the crash... it was my CPU overheating during a skirmish... it has been seen to and now has a massive 'gaming' fan, which keeps it in the 30-40 deg C range and always appears to run cool now. DCS is super stable.

What is amazing is that the PC was just closing down the app which was stressing it (DCS) and returning to desktop for a cool-off, fully functional. I report this in case others fall into the same problem. Thx and bye
