JNelson Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 Two things. First is the gun sight this laggy in the real plane. If not is it being worked on. Secondly is the gun pipper predicting or lagging behind with the radar locked. To clarify is it working like the f86 ranging gyro sight or the f15 predicting sight? I'm assuming the former at the moment and hopping for the latter but I can really tell when it is laggy. Thanks 1 Community A-4E-C
Croaker47 Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 From what I can tell, with the radar locked it works like the Snapshoot line in the F-16. The line is an artificial tracer line that shows a history of where your bullets (Presuming you fired any) have been. Wingspan input for the ticks will show the estimated impact point (in terms of Time of Flight) to hit at those ranges (Such as 300m and 600m). Radar lock will do the same thing, but put a pipper on the Snapshoot Line to estimate that for you. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, here. As for the lag, I couldn't guess.

PiedDroit Posted December 30, 2015 Posted December 30, 2015 The gun sight has been discussed a lot already, it's very accurate as it's stands. In this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=120580&page=203 Use "Search this thread", "snake" to get most of the discussion.
