So, I just purchased the SU-27 Campaign DLC from Steam (Already owned FC 3), bound the key to my account through the ED website but it doesnt show up???

Tried to force the download through the command prompt, but that doesn't work properly (crashes DCS) and I also can't find the DLC in the Module Manager

How can I solve this problem?

What version of DCS ?.

DCS 2 has only NTTR map so cannot run campaigns from DCS 1.X.

AMD A8-5600K @ 4GHz, Radeon 7970 6Gig, 16 Gig Ram, Win 10 , 250 gig SSD, 40" Screen + 22 inch below, Track Ir, TMWH, Saitek combat pedals & a loose nut behind the stick

UPDATE: I made it work!

I deinstalled and deactivated my DCS and started from a fresh install (Version 1.5.2.48726)

Flaming Cliffs 3 installed right of the bat, with option to install Su-27 Ultimate Argument through the Module Manager.

But now I had problems with all my other modules. It told me:

i dont own Mig-21 (I do own it)

THe FW-190D-9 disappeared from the module manager (which i own as well)

I unbound the Dora from my account, logged into DCS World and refreshed the store. There it was: I could buy Dora.

Thrn I bound the key to my account (again), and it disappeared on me again.

When I tried to force dcs updater.exe to download them through the command line, I again experienced DCS starting immediatly followed by a black screen.

All these modules, except FC3, are Steam keys used in the standalone version of DCS by the way. FC3 was purchased through the ED website.

UPDATE: I made it work!

Through experimenting, I found the answer and it is repeatable with my other modules.

Step 1) Unbind the key from the account

Step 2) Start DCS World, go into Module Manager and refresh your account. Quit DCS.

Step 3) Bind the key again to your account.

Step 4) Force DCS updater to download the module and quit it through Task Manager

Step 5) Start DCS WOrld, go into Module Manager and refresh your account. It should be enabled to download.

The cost was a day of my life, and a sincere hatred towards the lack of dedicated installers.

I would fix this problem ASAP guys.

After spending 8,5 hours on this problem on the last day of the year. I've become seriously afraid of buying modules ever again. But i'm happy, at least I can play with what I paid for. :pilotfly:

So I bought the BF-109, guess what happened....

1 )Bound Steam key to account and could download it from the Module Manager. (See Log 1)

2) No training missions available and the In-Game Manual gave an error message that it couldn't find the file. It was searching for a .txt.lua file so I figured some file missing.

3) Tried "dcs_updater.exe repair", couldnt find anything (See Log 2)

4) Deleted the module through the garbage can (See picture 1)

5) Reinstalled the module through "dcs_updater.exe install BF-109K4". Got only 1 error of Windows 10 saying that I already have the PDF manual and if I wanted to replace it. I clicked "Ok" (See picture 2)

6) Module nowhere to be found in DCS
