Prophet_169th Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 LoL global warming, classic. They had those after the ice ages too...... Been pretty hot here in New Mexico too. And Oregon, which is very uncharacteristic.
TucksonSonny Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Almost warm enough to turn on the AC For the first time in 2 year my CPU motherboard heat alarm was working (manually set on 60°C). The 6800Ultra was hitting 70°C after 2 à 3 hours of gaming. The good news is that with FC my pc runs about 7°C cooler than with AOEIII which is a nasty CPU/GPU cooker. It was about 32°C in Belgium and last week I had to return home with my bike in a temperature of 36°C (I travel each day 60km to the office with the bike). The bad news is that forecast for next week is again +30°C. DELL Intel® Core™ i7 Processor 940 2,93 GHz @3 GHz, 8 MB cache | 8.192 MB 1.067 MHz Tri Channel DDR3 | 512 MB ATI® Radeon™ 4850 | 500 GB 7200 rpm Serial ATA | Samsung SM 2693 HM 25.5 " | HOTAS Cougar Thrustmaster |
VMFA-Blaze Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 Its 78 here, and it's raining again, as it has for about the last week. There's been vast power outages all across the area. But it hasn't afffected us though, we've been very lucky. Two weeks ago we went through a extream heat wave, the temps. were hitting 100 just about everyday. This is clear in my mind that we are going through global warming. The ice caps are melting and the watertable is riseing, look at what happened to New Orleans last year, and the Tsunami's that are playing havok in the Pacific. Science is actually stateing that Global Warming is happening at an alarming rate, it's progression is more rapid than was expected...
