[Question] How to make skins available for other nations

The L-39 offers two nice skins for the East German Air Force by default. However, these are only selectable when choosing "Germany" as nation. This means ATC comms are in English. Also I don't want to put Germany on the red side.

 

Is there a way to make the NVA skins available under the selection of Russia as nation? I tried putting "RUS" into the .lua file instead of GER, but that did not do the trick. Also renaming the folders and the skin names (and matching both) didn't help. I can choose the NVA skin under Russia alright, but in-mission there's always only the default russian skin to be seen.

Yes, in the description.LUA there is a line in each livery folder: countries = {"*"}

 

Just add whichever nation you wish to add using the same syntax and the correct spelling etc and it works fine. Be sure to use notepad++ though and not the windows notepad app, and back up the original file first to be safe.
