I flew around in the Nevada map and there doesn't seem to be any ground effect at all. I had no issue completely releasing hold on my joystick and still sit relatively still over the ground.

It seem a lot harder (as it should) in the old map on 1.5.2

I just had a go, can't say I noticed the difference between the 2 builds. You still need more torque to hover out of ground effect than IGE

Agreed. But I noticed no IGE on roof tops.

If anything I noticed the complete opposite, roofs seemed fine to me.

I could test later again, maybe today.

I could completely remove my hand from the stick so something isn't right.

Maybe it's material related.
