Crunchy Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 Can someone tell me why the Hydraulic cross feed light would be on while doing a ramp start? I followed Charlie Owls tutorial on Mirage 2000 ramp start, but I have some lights on. One is the "Hydraulic cross feed" like mentioned and the other is the "wheel brakes are been applied" light? Can someone tell me why these would be on? Thanks!
spiddx Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 It's a known and reported bug. The two lights stay lit (incorrectly) after the lights check. Azrayen Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 (edited) spiddx is right :) BTW unless I'm mistaken, you're talking about the orange light labelled "RVT VOL", right? If yes, it's not about hydraulic system or crossfeed (AFAIK there is no hydraulic crossfeed, as it would defeat the very purpose of having 2 hydraulic systems). RVT VOL is short for Ravitaillement en Vol = Inflight Refueling. Edited January 11, 2016 by Azrayen
spiddx Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I think he's talking about the 'cross' light (arrestor hook) which was incorrectly labeled as hyd crossfeed in chuck's first revision of the guide. It's corrected in the current one. :) Specs: i9 10900K @ 5.1 GHz, EVGA GTX 1080Ti, MSI Z490 MEG Godlike, 32GB DDR4 @ 3600, Win 10, Samsung S34E790C, Vive, TIR5, 10cm extended Warthog on WarBRD, Crosswinds
gospadin Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 In my English cockpit, I labeled that light EDS, though I don't actually know what "EDS" stands for heh. Maybe the 2000-5Mk2 has that light hooked to a completely different system. My liveries, mods, and missions for DCS:World M-2000C English Cockpit | Extra Beacons Mod | Nav Kneeboard | Community A-4E
