Paganus Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 The scan area for the magic seeker maybe higher than it should be. When trying to lock a target with the Magic seeker (not using radar at all) it is almost impossible to get a lock inside the seeker scan ring, but if you line the gun cross up on the target you can get a lock easier.
jojo Posted January 12, 2016 Posted January 12, 2016 Very well known, forget the circle, aim with the cross to lock for now. Mirage fanatic ! The circle is not a MAGIC II scan area. It is an interception area and it only appears with a small square when you have a target locked by radar. When you put the small square inside the circle, you are flying an intercept course towards your target. The MAGIC aiming point is the small cross, which is called the "gun cross". Put your target in the cross and your MAGIC missiles will lock on it.
