[RESOLVED]Unable to update DCS World 1.5 from 1.2.16

Hi,

I am unable to update to DCS World 1.5 from 1.2.16.

 

Everytime I try to update, the updater crashes?

My Specs - Win7 64 bit Ultimate Ed, i-5 3.1Ghz, MotherBoard ASUS, RAM 8 GB,

 

Video Card GTX 650 1GB VRAM.

download the latest updater from here under troubleshooting and replace the one you have and try again.

Do you have an anti virus, if so which one?

 

is your windows up to date, service pack 1?

Looks like on Win7 the updater requires SP1 to work.

I've made a workaround in the updater which may resolve the crash, though I need someone to test it.
