VTJS17_Fire Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Hi, does anybody know the engine setting prior take-off, while holding the brakes? In the F-15 it was "set 80", but I didn't read any information about that procedure in Razbams flight manual. Is this mentioned in the real flight manual, which is available in French? Azrayen Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I'll check later. From memory, I would say up to 100% "dry" (mil), the wheel brakes have a specific mode that give them more power (more pressure) when engine is running high.
Toertchen Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) Hi Fire, - set 100% dry (PG sec - ≤850°) -> monitor brake pressure (should at n=80% increase from ~100 bar to 260 bar) - set 100% wet (PC mini - ≤870°) -> increase to 102% wet (PC max - ≤870°) Edited January 13, 2016 by Toertchen
Corsair Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 In case of heavy loads (typically two big balls.. hem bags, and A/G weaponry), you can go PC mini (min AB) on the brakes.
