(To devs) What other training can we expect?

Just did the start-up tutorial the other day (yes, I'm painfully slow) and it was quite well done. I know you guys are super busy with the EFM and CC but I was just wondering was other training we can expect to be included down the line.

At least taxi, takeoff and landing, navigation and combat procedures. Maybe formation, but that's not easy as AI flies terribly in DCS.

Sounds good. Ya, formation flying would be hard to do since you don't have any comms with an AI flight leader.

 

For navigation, covering all the flight director modes plus TACAN, VOR, and ADF would be good.

Comms wouldn't be the problem, that could be generated via triggers. The hardcore of formation flying is that, ... flying :D

Will there be a dedicated IFR flight training (player under the blind flying hood, AI instructor telling him to do stuff)?

 

Maybe it sounds better in my head than it really is, but I think it could be cool.

That's an option. The hood is going to be there, so, why not use it? :)

A training mission simulating failures would be cool too but I would put that in the "if time permits" category.

We would need to implement failures first. That's WIP.
