Gate-5 Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Can anyone explain to me what these numbers mean? The heading is clear to me but what about the 49/15?
Cibit Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 If you check the other briefing pages there is an explanation, although I have never sussed it properly either;) i5 8600k@5.2Ghz, Asus Prime A Z370, 32Gb DDR4 3000, GTX1080 SC, Oculus Rift CV1, Modded TM Warthog Modded X52 Collective, Jetseat, W10 Pro 64 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Adding JTAC Guide //My Vid's//229th AHB
Gate-5 Posted January 16, 2016 Author Posted January 16, 2016 (edited) I did check the other ones, but I dont think these are related to the numbers given for each leg of the flight plan, or am I missing something? IMOH the grid system is kinda useless since we dont have a complete map with the grid. The top numbers in my screenshot seem to be the distance in km, but the lower one, I don't know. Flight time in minutes maybe? Whatever :D EDIT: I think I've got it now and 49/15 260° means "Fly 260° for 49km and be there 15min". Resulting speeds would be from 180kmh to 225kmh for the flightplan above, which is reasonable for the Mi8. Edited January 16, 2016 by Gate-5
Slazi Posted January 17, 2016 Posted January 17, 2016 Sounds plausible. Nice work. Any other missions you can cross-reference that with?
Gate-5 Posted January 17, 2016 Author Posted January 17, 2016 Sounds plausible. Nice work. Any other missions you can cross-reference that with? Im currently using this for all campaign missions, so far it seems to work. Calculating speed often results in the same number for multiple legs, so I think its correct.
