Anski Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Hi, when I use the kneeboard with waypoint of mission for VFR flight, the map displayed on the kneeboard does not match ! I mean the rivers, roads, houses I tried several places in the map and so is ... For VFR flight is not easy with that! I do not use the "mark location" because it's cheating
mkiii Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Which aircraft? Mark location isn't cheating. If you had a real route map, you would look out of the cockpit and plot your position on the map with a chinagraph wouldn't you?
Captain Orso Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 The cheating part is that you press <ctrl><k> and it automatically marks on the map exactly where you are, even if you actually have no idea where you are, or are not even on the correct map page. When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs. mkiii Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 Well yes, perhaps, if you were flying without any sort of radio gear & couldnt triangulate your position idoing it the old fashioned way by looking at features on the ground and comparing them to the map you have in front of you.
