splash Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 (edited) First of all, many thanks for developing this great campaing! I'm enjoying a lot. In the mission 01 briefing, mission data card section, you can read: Joker: 7.0 Bingo 4.5 Could you please tell me what does it means? Thanks. Edited January 18, 2016 by splash
mambo Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Bingo: Minimum fuel state needed for aircraft to return to base. Joker: Fuel state above BINGO at which separation/bugout/event termination should begin.
Zeke Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Ok, maybe a good idea then is to put the 'Bingo' mark on 'Joker' and reset it after bitching betty says 'Bingo Fuel'.
Steve Davies Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Ok, maybe a good idea then is to put the 'Bingo' mark on 'Joker' and reset it after bitching betty says 'Bingo Fuel'. Zeke, that's how it's done in the Eagle IRL. Steve Davies https://www.10percenttrue.com
splash Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 Thanks for your answers. Yesterday I printed all the briefings, maps and line up cards and its reading is as enjoyable as the flights.

viperdogsnake Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 In a training enviroment, you should be able to fight to bingo, intercept sometype of min fuel burn profile and put nellis on the nose and have say 5-10 min fuel left (post landing) if you go directly home. Joker is routinely fought thru with a call " copy joker, reset bingo." There is no reason to get close to flaming out in "training" minus some emergency. on
