Sierra99 Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Hey, Just out of curiosity is anyone using the Real Simulator FUSBA and How do you like it? I have a little extra cash and I am trying to decide if I want to mess with the Suncom Stick and Throttle or get a new monitor. Pros /Cons? Sokol1_br Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 (edited) Don't see none... I suggest you download and read the manual first: [ame]http://www.realsimulator.com/FUSBA_stick_programming.pdf[/ame] Because this adapter is done for SFS - and for the throttle is almost "PnP" - but for the F-15 the buttons and HATS in joystick need be programmed in original keyboard emulation mode, what require plug the joystick DIN keyboard cable in the computer - dont know if a PS2 to USB adapter work for Suncom F-15. Sierra99 Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 Already did. 1 thing I've noticed from research is it "looks" like most of the switched will need to be replaced. The Suncom switches are spring loaded momentary... Sokol1_br Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Replacing the switches be ON-OFF-ON in throttle will be easy, is only four. The question is if a permanent ON switch don't interfere in others, as this was originally to work in keyboard emulation, what is subject to "keyboard ghosting"...

Which brings me back to the original question...I'd >THINK< the conversion to USB would eliminate that problem. Of course Belsim hardcoding correct switch functions into the F-15 wold too. ;?) mpsteidle Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Reviving this thread... Does anyone have any experience with the FUSBA mod for the Suncom SFS throttle? I love the feel of my suncom stick and would love to keep using it in modern games.
