Captain Orso Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 (edited) Since the update to 1.5.2.49392.141, I've had control settings on my TM HOTAS Throttle-Pack change mid-game, both in Single- and Multi-Player. In TrackIR I have the Joystick Master-Mode-Control button set for 'Center' and don't have it set to anything in DCS. I have the Thumb-Coolie on the right throttle set that down is RWR Test At least twice already, mid-game pressing the Thumb-Coolie down suddenly does 'Center' for TrackIR, but so does the Master-Mode-Control button still too. If I hold the Thumb-Coolie down I can then turn to see that it also still does activate the RWR Test. Once in MP after having repairs done, the right Throttle wouldn't work at all, nor could I use the mouse to move the in-cockpit Throttle. Edit: I'm flying the P-51D here BTW. SuperKungFu Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I have the same issue, sometimes the CMS switch doesn't respond, and I press it again and again then it could work. Not sure whats going on. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Captain Orso Posted January 23, 2016 Author Posted January 23, 2016 The really odd thing, is that it's not the binding being changed, because using the thumb-coolie-down still asserts the RWR-Test, so it's something being added to the action. MadDog-IC Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I have the same issue, sometimes the CMS switch doesn't respond, and I press it again and again then it could work. Not sure whats going on. I seem to be having the same issue. Setting up hotas command on Saitek SST for x52 pro and the Fw-190 dora, whilst sitting on runway. Tested sitting on ground: Flaps, wheels up and down, guns, bomb release, canopy open / close, Eject and all axis are all working as they should be. Get into the air: Retract under carriage - no go, used G key on keyboard to retract gear, had to change hotas commands to G instead of the seperate Gear retract and extend key commands, they did nothing. Using guns with unlimited ammo - Seem to either jam or just stop firing at random Dropping bombs - drop first 4 ok, then when it reloads can't release any of them. Can't open canopy, then at random it will open, but using the close canopy command, tried to eject with the macro script I have always used in all aircraft and didn't do anything, pressed multiple times, finally did it after 4-6 trys. Really frustrating problem, I have no ideas what is happening also. Regards, Ian. Captain Orso Posted February 9, 2016 Author Posted February 9, 2016 TrackIR 5.3 SW One thing I've learned is that the TrackIR 5.3 SW has a bug, which prevents it from differentiating between TM HOTAS buttons with the same name on the Throttle and Joystick. Natrualpoint says they've recognized the problem and that a solution should be coming soon: track ir thrusmaster mapping When you hit the wrong button on take-off System Specs. Captain Orso Posted February 13, 2016 Author Posted February 13, 2016 TrackIR SW v5.4.1 has been release and it fixes the issue with not recognizing different controllers. SuperKungFu Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 Even with the new trackir software, I'm still experiencing stuck keys on my hotas warthog only in dcs. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
