jojo Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 (edited) Well but I couldn´t even get multiple bombs off the rail. You have to set "NB" on "PPA" control panel (right of radar screen) Just in case: the bomb spacing isn't in ft, but m x10 I hope this help. But don't expect too much for multiple GBU-12 release on different targets... Edited September 29, 2016 by jojo Mirage fanatic ! Oberst Zeisig Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 Thanks for the hint. I´ll give it a try though, interesting matter on this nice plane. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Good combat flight is understanding the nature of things and the feeling to handle it.
Oberst Zeisig Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 If You mean the firing mode selctor I set it to PAR (I think one after the other) not on TOT (I think for total) but nope neither mode will drop more than one bomb, not together or one after the other alway only one. Oberst Zeisig Posted September 29, 2016 Posted September 29, 2016 A now I know what you mean, just the nb = number selctor, Yes I´ve set it to 4. Multiple rippling seems completely unactive if GBU12 is selected. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Good combat flight is understanding the nature of things and the feeling to handle it.
vparez Posted September 30, 2016 Posted September 30, 2016 (edited) Hi guys, been experimenting with JTAC lasing in past few days and I got a problem... I do the same mission over and over and in one case I hit all 4 targets, while in the next try I can't hit anything as if JTAC is not lasing. The same targets, the same mission, same comms from my side and JTAC. The targets are not moving. What am I doing wrong? What are the constraints on the weapon launch? I see here people doing it from extreme attitudes and altitudes. I can't pinpoint the reason when the weapon doesn't guide. EDIT: Ok, I found what was I doing wrong: when I send SPOT and then IN to the JTAC, he doesn't lase anymore (although he says cleared HOT). I thought that these two commands should be given before the attack. Is this correct? Edited October 1, 2016 by vparez
