Pilotasso Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 I just noticed how ED must have made a small mistake by making possible a rotary to be assignable to azimuth scan aperture intead of radar horizontal slew, wich curiosly is the expression that is stated on the axis config window. Can we change this to be right? It is much more handy to make the tighter scan zone be slewable horizonatly but Im unable to do this onto the rotaries, has anyone donne it? (I have all hats filled with other commands already) .
STAR_80 Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Eh? LOL Everytime you fighter guys start talking your technical mumbo jumbo buisness, it makes us ground pounders suddenly feel very sleepy. :P It really is awsome how LOMAC offers a complete A2A / A2G expirence.
emenance Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 id like to know too Asus P8Z68-V GEN3/ 2500k 4.4ghz / Corsair 64gb SSD Cache / Corsair 8g 1600 ddr3 / 2 x 320gb RE3 Raid 0 /Corsair 950w/ Zotac 560TI AMP 1gb / Zalman GS1200 case /G940/
Cosmonaut Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 That is odd .. I can see why they would allow rotaries too be assigned to radar functions but why limit it to aperture and not make it possible for horizontal slew.. Something doesn’t sound right but hopefully there’s a solution.. Sry cant help you but good luck.:) Cozmo. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Minimum effort, maximum satisfaction. Stealth_HR Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Everytime you fighter guys start talking your technical mumbo jumbo buisness, it makes us ground pounders suddenly feel very sleepy. :P *yawn* Very true. Besides, the only slewing we need is the Shkval, the rest is just useless. :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Real men fly ground attack :pilotfly: where EVERYTHING wants a piece of you :D
NEODARK Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 can you just make your rotaries bands? that might work. (I just use a hat for it)
Pilotasso Posted July 28, 2006 Author Posted July 28, 2006 can you just make your rotaries bands? that might work. (I just use a hat for it) I tried that, but everytime the rotary passes on a given point it will execute the command on that area regardless of the direction of motion, i.e. it will send the slew right if I slew left when its still on the right half of the range...doesnt work the way I want it. Im thinking about taking the CH throttle out of my brothers room for greater firepower than my X52 throttle, borrowing it for a while, how do I set multiple timed commands on one button? I know how to assign single keys to each button I just dont know how to setup the scripts for it (my script window is already open I just need an example, like dumping 10 flares automaticaly by one button press). :) .

I would use it but I would have to fly with the commands printed out for a while. I do use his but I modded it to my taste. I don't use a shift button and he does. He has buttons programmed to if you flick it real quick or hold it...they do diferent functions. Like I said ask him about it, you can get it here http://forum.ch-hangar.com/index.php?act=idx
Pilotasso Posted July 28, 2006 Author Posted July 28, 2006 Rgr that, thx for the help, I realy apreciate it. :) But with the recorder I am unable to set the timings the way I want them exactly but with my bare hands, they will be innacurate. Also how can I set 1 command for first click and another for second? .
Pilotasso Posted July 29, 2006 Author Posted July 29, 2006 Just one thing more, I cant make the microstick to work as a mouse properly. I have set its axis but no matter what I do it always behaves like this: Y axis moves the cursor sideways, while the x axis still moves sideways but much slower. The options I change apear not to have any efect at all as long as the device is ticked "Direct X mode". Any ideas? (I dont have track IR and the microstick is what I have used on X52 for view) Everything is calibrated and works perfectly in the test window. .
Pilotasso Posted July 29, 2006 Author Posted July 29, 2006 har! I figured it out...theres this Download button I found, didnt know the stick itself could memorize the keys, anyway I reseted its memory and reconfigured the profile and now it works perfectly. :) .
Pilotasso Posted July 29, 2006 Author Posted July 29, 2006 Thx rug, again . I noticed you are quite active on the CH forums. :) I also noticed what you said about the countermeasures, and had that on my X52 (10 not 9) already. .
