guitarxe Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 I've looked all over the internet about this issue, and have found many mods, but nothing to address this issue. I must have stored my joystick badly somehow or something, because after not using it for a while I got it out and now when I move the stick to the right, it sticks and doesn't move unless I apply more pressure than usual, at which point I can feel it grind as it moves. It feels as if something is rusted or if something is in the way. However the stick moves perfect when moving left, up or down. And if I first move it up or down and then move it to the right, there is no issue. Only if I move it to the right from center position there is grinding, and requires good amount of force (so much force that if I don't hold the base of the stick with my other hand, it will tip over the base rather than move). Can anyone suggest what I should do to fix it? I've seen some videos that show the unscrewed bottom part of the stick, but I don't think that will be enough for me if I need to open it up and take a look at what might be the problem, I think I need to open up the part where the stick sits in the middle, but haven't been able to find any detailed disassemblies of that part.

guitarxe Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 Thanks, that is what I was thinking of doing as well. But how do I apply it? Do I just put a few drops under the spring and move the stick around and hope for the best?
guitarxe Posted February 10, 2016 Author Posted February 10, 2016 Thanks, worked like a charm! Didn't have to open it, actually. I just greased a bit the stick under the spring, under the little plate right under the spring. I just hope that grease doesn't destroy the plastic haha.
