Jateu Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Hi All Has anyone changed the cooling hoses on your aio graphics card? I want to go for the gtx980ti waterforce and the hoses lol reducilous and also I don't think the fan will reach my fan slot? Any help out there?
Demon_ Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 You will introduce air bubbles in the systeme. What case? Attache ta tuque avec d'la broche.
Jateu Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 Z11. But surely the manufacturer would introduce bubbles. But the tubing looks like it should be upgraded to something with better thermal properties etc. Like the hose on h110i.
razo+r Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 The fan and radiator will mostly go to the rear, if it won't reach it, then it's a bad case or a bad aio water cooler... and why would you change the aio coller? loud fans? replace them, loud pump? make your own water cooling loop, weird tubes? make your own water cooling loop
Jateu Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 If I'm spending £600 on a graphics card and all I need to do is replace a £5 bit of tube then it's way better than spending £200 more for a loop system. My question still stands at has anyone done it?
Jateu Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 Has anyone got any views on the gtx980ti waterforce?
PureEvil Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) I want to go for the gtx980ti waterforce why not to get cheapest air cooled GTX980Ti and build your own custom water cooling loop around it? how big difference in price that will do? you'll get better temps, quieter operation and have full control over what parts are used. just checked the price in store where i usually buy my pc parts, difference in prices between cheapest air cooled (Inno3D GeForce GTX 980 Ti Gaming OC) and that gigabyte water cooled card is 190€! Jateu Posted February 4, 2016 Author Posted February 4, 2016 Yeah looked into it and really for quality loop parts it is pricy. Alot have told me to hang on for nvidia gp100
PureEvil Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Yeah looked into it and really for quality loop parts it is pricy. Alot have told me to hang on for nvidia gp100 it is pricey, but there is always an option to buy used parts. pump is the only thing that should be brand new, maybe tubes too. i wonder what the price for new gp100 will be ))) STEAM asus p8z68-v gen3, 2600k@4,5ghz(w/c), 16gb, 1080ti(w/c), ch fighterstick/gvl224-4000-8, ch pro throttle, Oculus Rift CV1+Touch, thrustmaster tx
