jonss Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 (edited) Hi People, My eyes are 'out to lunch' and my eyesight has been deteriorating for 68 years. I have almost every flight sim and enough add-ons and experience to be able to hold a substantial opinion. By 'beef' is with labels. I hate flying with them. Let's say 6 aircraft are attacking, I cannot distinguish them from the bleeding labels. Why not just a 'dot' of the appropriate colour, above the enemy formation? Who would like to see this? I have ok sight but not for focusing, hours on end on a computer screen. However there is no eyestrain if I can get the general direction of the enemy. I'd like to see labels disappear completely when I get in sight range and remain off when I'm in the thick of it. Reappearing once I reach a prescribed distance. Jon Edited February 14, 2016 by jonss
Sabre-TLA Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 Try this. It changes the labels display to a dot "." so it's less obtrusive. We don't play with labels on but for user's that do this might be better for you. MapleFlagMissions - Read Our Blog for Updates
Buzzles Posted February 14, 2016 Posted February 14, 2016 To be honest, the op's suggestion of labels going to a dot or something under a certain range is actually a really nice feature for those of us that use lables. Although for me, I'd like it the other way around. Dots at a distance, and then lables within a klick or so, where they're big enough that lables aren't in the way. Fancy trying Star Citizen?
