King_Hrothgar Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 This really ought to be possible. It isn't a big deal with the L-39 I suppose, but we need that setup and working before aircraft with critical controls in both seats are added (thinking F-14 and attack choppers).
Steggles Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 TBH, if you want to use it in multiplayer, you should need multiple players. Isn't that the idea of multiplayer? I'm against a single person being able to operate in both seats in multiplayer. -16AGR- 16th Air Guards Regiment is always looking for pilots - http://www.16agr.com EWRS - Early Warning Radar Script Specs: Gigabyte Sniper Z5-S Intel i5-4670k 3.4GHz OC'd 3.9GHz w/ Thermaltake 120mm Water 3.0 Pro Liquid CPU Cooler 16GB RAM Gigabyte GTX 1080 TM Hotas Warthog: SN: 06976 Saitek Pro Flight Combat Rudder Pedals TrackIR5 with TrackClipPro & Oculus Rift 2x 28" 4k UHD Monitors (3840x2160 each) + 1280x1024
King_Hrothgar Posted February 20, 2016 Author Posted February 20, 2016 (edited) You've not played in MP much have you? Cause it doesn't work like that. The overwhelming majority of people who take gunner/copilot/whatever seats are trolls who jettison all the weapons and then eject/bail out. It's always been that way in MP games. Getting a cooperative 2nd player is exceptionally rare. It's cool when it happens, but it isn't the norm. The norm is flying the plane by yourself and rejecting all requests to hop into the other seat unless you know the person. Edited February 20, 2016 by King_Hrothgar
Golo Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Agreed, this is must have feature of multi seat aircrafts. It is of course way better to have second player in, but unles its somebody from squadron or well known person, no way in hell Ill let some stranger to my jet.
