Angel101 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 I just bump to not open a new one. (version 1.5.5.59992 Update 2) Why the FBW is inputing so much? Any trick to avoid that? My problem is I just move the stick milimeters to go up, then FBW move my nose to much up and then I need to input down, even if I try moving very carefully, the plane enters in a big oscillation up and down. Rather than call it pilot induced oscillation it´s a FBW induced oscillation.

One very much have come in more or less perfectly vertically relative to the refueling probe since even minor vertical corrections are very likely to end up in a Oscillation and at that point its best to simply drop back a little and try again.
The Legman Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 (edited) I will jump on the cockpit again just to make sure, but, are you having FBW limiter set to CHARGES? With the advanced waypoint options it never runs like it used to be and now i can refuel in one or two contacts which is pretty nice. Always with FBW on Charges because its how it is supposed to be though. Edited December 13, 2016 by The Legman DCS Discord community - https://discord.gg/U8aqzVT
Angel101 Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 Yes. In charges. I'm sure that the real plane is more precise with pilot inputs and they don't fight with the airplane.
The Legman Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 I have refueled just fine, one tank straight from 20% to 100% and did not really notice a big input or anything strange. I will keep trying, though. But what i noticed is that before the patch, the tanker did no longer accelerate when advanced waypoint options were set. This is no longer true. I will keep investigating because it's a tad annoying though. I can't attach the track since it had a black screen forcing me to restart after it, will try again. Anyone else gets a ton of "refuel start/refuel stop" events when refueling the mirage? i don't mean actual connects/disconnects from the drogue, just random events that don't make sense.
