Ramsay
For the L-39C the smoke system is tied into the weapons system. So Arms switch ON Air speed above 315 km/h - yellow STAND ALERT lamp lights showing power available to weapons system. Stick 'Trigger Safety' switch - DOWN Pull Trigger to start smoke 2nd Trigger Pull stops smoke/cycles smoke dispensers NOTE - If below 315 km/h - yellow STAND ALERT lamp is off, the weapons system has no power and you can't turn off the smoke i.e. after landing. How to use smoke when my plane carries other weapons? I am always using l39za.When i carried other weapons,i tried to arm the smoke pod into the engine.I pressed the Trigger, other weapons might be launched. Broken? Does not work for me. The pod smokes don`t work as the center smoke doesn`t. I used exactly your order of steps. I tried strg +w twice also. No matter what I try: No smoke. I want to use only center smoker - but for testing I picked pods and center to red. But for testing I got 3 red smoke devices, so it should not matter?` -TSP- Multigaming Discord Server 9700K @5,2GHz Watercooled | 32Gb RAM @4266 CL16 | 2 GTX 1080 TI Watercooled| HW Raid 10 (4x 960gb SSD) | Warthog HOTAS | Saitek rudder pedals | Track IR5 WW2 Assets, A-10C, AJS Viggen, Bf109, F-5E Tiger II, F/A-18C Hornet, FW190, FC3, Black Shark 2, L-39, P-51D. But for testing I got 3 red smoke devices, so it should not matter?` It's working in 2.5.0.14304, here are pictures for the L-39C (Note: I mixed up my engine panel pictures - the AOA–HTR switch is only on the ZA) and L-39ZA If it still isn't working for you, post a track or video and I'll try to see whats up. Niktator
It's working in 2.5.0.14304, here is a picture of the L-39C I'll add a picture for the L-39 ZA shortly, IIRC the only real addition was powering up the pylons Thank you for that image. I guess I messed some buttons up. When I used the mouse to click exactly (mostly, since I`m using the version without HUD) the same switches, smoke from the pods worked. But the goal is, to use only center smoke (Weight reduction for aerobatics). When having only the center smoke, I can`t manage to turn it on. -TSP- Multigaming Discord Server 9700K @5,2GHz Watercooled | 32Gb RAM @4266 CL16 | 2 GTX 1080 TI Watercooled| HW Raid 10 (4x 960gb SSD) | Warthog HOTAS | Saitek rudder pedals | Track IR5 WW2 Assets, A-10C, AJS Viggen, Bf109, F-5E Tiger II, F/A-18C Hornet, FW190, FC3, Black Shark 2, L-39, P-51D. Ramsay
When having only the center smoke, I can`t manage to turn it on. Thanks, I tested further and adding a single smoke pod only works via the mission editor. If I ramp start a clean L-39C and ask the Ground Crew to load a center smoke pod (before engine start), they respond in the affirmative and confirm completion but it doesn't work. I don't recall if the wing smoke pods are the same. Sauerkraut
At L-39ZA, you must switch the switch for the inner station to "on".
