Help me Updading A-10C

Hi I bought the boxed version A-10C 2011 edition I'd like to update this plane but wich patch should I chose?

Do I need to do al lot updates or just the latest?

 

Current version is 1.1.0

 

I see patches starting from 1.1.7.0 or 1.1.8.0

Before I had the boxed version of the Hog, DCS world was installed

after installation of boxed Hog starting DCS world application the Hog doesn't show up in the menu . is that usual?

 

or do I need to purchase in the menu before it appears in the menu?

 

Or can I uninstall the world edition from now?

 

And is the boxed version compatible with the Nevadeatest range too?

Welcome to the forums!

 

You need DCSW installed. You can uninstall the standalone version of the A-10C.

 

Your standalone A-10C key is a valid key for the installation of the A-10C module for DCSW.

You just have to bind the A-10C key to your DCSW account.

Then you can install the DCSW A-10C module using the module manager.

And what about terrain, the Nevada range needs DCSW version 2.0

The auto updater installed version 1.5.3.

Where is 2.0, it should instal 2.0 right?

As want to know if my version is bought before 21st februari, the NTTR test range should be provided for free. The Eshop tells it should be bought ingame in module manager but I didn't saw the test range.

 

How do I know if it is bought before 21st februari 2011?

to get to the latest version, you should uninstall that version. You should go here:

then login on the top-right, or make an account. Then bind your A-10C serial key to your account. You should then go here and download the latest version: 1.5

Once the download of the version of your choice is complete. start up the game. On the top you will find a function called module manager. Go there, log-in with the details you used to log-in on the site. You should now be able to download the A-10C for DCS world.

 

I think you may have been out of the DCS flightsim loop for a while :) The old standalone DCS: A-10C, DCS: Ka-50 modules etc are no longer supported. All modules now work on a single client, called DCS:world.

If you bought the boxed copy then you bought it after that date, since the boxed version did not exist at that time.

 

The current version is 1.5.3.

 

There is an Alpha test version of 2.0 available but it is not released to the normal update channel yet. That is what the Nevada map works with, which you would need to purchase.

Just a question in the box there was a coupon 60%,

Is this for just one module or as I'd like to buy the Nevada test range an the Albatros or Hawk T.1A at in the same time in the cart for the checkout to pay, goes the 60% off from the whole price or per module?
